lobster potsAudio and Video producer Simon Frith: “The entire team at A1 VOX are a pleasure to work with: professional, friendly and efficient. We’ve been using their services for 10 years – everything from voice recordings and radio adverts to foley work for film, and we keep coming back for more!

Simon brought us an unusual challenge, to create an audio experience for visitors to a 19th century fisherman’s cottage museum: “Part of making the production was A1 VOX finding two great character voice-over artists who could research the accents of the people who lived and worked in the area at the time, to perform authentic dialogue. Stephen Critchlow and Beth Chalmers, with a wealth of character acting experience, delivered the goods. Creating believable Sound Effects to underlay the voice-over was also a major factor in pulling the project together. A1 VOX went out field recording in the area, collecting sounds of the Thames and the surrounding mudflats, to add authenticity. The project came together swiftly and efficiently, and the museum and its visitors are very happy with the results
