Bafta-nominated safe pair of hands; warm and approachable but with authority
Jayne honed her voice-over skills on the stage and on BBC Television as a live continuity announcer. Her work now covers the corporate arena (Amgen, Bank of England), digital/online (Channel 4, What Car?) and radio (BBC Radio 4, Classic FM) where her ability to communicate complex information with credibility, integrity and authority is highly valued. Her northern roots give her voice an accessible quality – BBC audience research revealed her to be “believable, trustworthy, warm and intelligent”. A 3 part series for BBC2 on Mexico, voiced by Jayne, was nominated for a Bafta.
She excels at technical subjects with complicated terminology such as in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors. Years on live television have made her an adaptable, efficient and reliable performer, able to take direction well and often called the ‘one take wonder’. Other clients include AstraZeneca, Pearson and Dorling Kindersley.
